Frequently asked questions
Everything people ask before they join — answered plainly. If your question is not here, the legal pages below it are the full version.
Is Speedy Socials free?
No — and that is exactly the point. Other networks are “free” because they sell your attention and your data. Our members pay a fair price instead: €4.99 a month per adult, €19.99 a month for a family of two adults and up to four children, or €15.99 for one adult with up to four children. Pay for a year and two months are free. Because members pay, we never have to sell your data.
Who can join?
Anyone. You get a personal profile, and organisations — clubs, businesses, local groups — can create pages of their own. Young people are protected by age-appropriate settings and family links for parents.
Which languages does Speedy Socials support?
Eleven languages from day one — German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian and Ukrainian — with more to follow. You can switch language whenever you like.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes. The Android app downloads directly from this site, and Speedy Socials works in the browser of any phone, tablet or computer — on iPhone, the browser is the way in today.
Do you sell my data?
Never. Our members pay for the service, so nothing about you has to be sold: no selling of data, no advertising profiles, no cross-site tracking and no external advertising. The only advertising on the platform is local businesses showing what they offer — never based on your personal data.
What makes Speedy Socials different from other social networks?
It is funded by its members instead of by advertising: a fair monthly price, no cross-site tracking, no advertising profiles, no manipulative algorithms — and only local business advertising that is never based on your personal data. Add GDPR protection for every member and safety tools that work from your first day.
What does a business page cost?
Every organisation — a club, a local group, a business — can have a page. Businesses that want an extended page, with more room to present themselves, pay €29.99 a month. Pay for a year and two months are free.
What are Blinks and Wisps?
A Blink is a short video that lives for 24 hours and never plays by itself. A Wisp is a short thought beside your profile picture that disappears after a day. Both are for moments, not for forever.
What is an orbit?
Your orbit is your circle on Speedy Socials: the people you are close to, whose posts shape your feed. You choose what your orbit sees, and who sees what you share.
How do I report someone?
Every post, comment and profile has a report button. Reports are reviewed by people, the decision is explained, and you can appeal it.
Can I download my data?
Yes — at any time you can download a complete copy of everything the platform holds about you, from your privacy centre.
How do I leave Speedy Socials?
Delete your account from your privacy centre. There is a short waiting period in case you change your mind; after that, your account is truly gone.
Who is behind Speedy Socials?
Speedy Socials is developed by Speedy Systems in the European Union — a team that believes social media can be built on trust instead of tracking.
