1. Our commitment

Speedy Socials.eu is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We believe that a social network is only truly social when everyone can use it, regardless of ability.

This accessibility statement applies to theSpeedy Socials website and all pages within it.

2. Conformance status

Speedy Socials.eu conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. This is the standard required by the EU Web Accessibility Directive (Directive (EU) 2016/2102) and the European standard EN 301 549. We aim to meet or exceed these requirements across the entire platform.

3. What we do for accessibility

Accessibility is not an afterthought at Speedy Socials — it is part of our definition of done. Every feature we build is designed with accessibility in mind from the start. Specifically:

  • All pages use semantic HTML elements (headings, landmarks, lists, forms) so screen readers can navigate them meaningfully.
  • All interactive elements are keyboard-operable. You can navigate, activate, and use every feature without a mouse.
  • Focus indicators are always visible. You can always see which element has keyboard focus.
  • Colour contrast meets or exceeds WCAG AA requirements (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text and interface elements).
  • Images carry meaningful alternative text. Decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Forms have visible, associated labels. Error messages are clear, specific, and programmatically linked to their fields.
  • Animations respect the prefers-reduced-motion setting. If you have requested reduced motion in your operating system, animations are suppressed.
  • Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality, and we never prevent browser zoom.

4. Known limitations

We continuously test and improve accessibility. At this time, we are not aware of any significant accessibility barriers. If you encounter one, please let us know — we take every report seriously.

As the platform grows and new features are added (social posts, media uploads, messaging, moderation interfaces), each will be tested for accessibility before release.

5. How to report an issue

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on Speedy Socials, please tell us. We want to hear about:

  • Any difficulty you have using the platform with assistive technology (screen readers, voice input, switch devices, etc.).
  • Any content or feature that is not accessible via keyboard.
  • Any part of the platform where text is not readable, contrast is insufficient, or navigation is unclear.

6. Enforcement

The EU Web Accessibility Directive requires member states to enforce accessibility requirements. If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility concern, you may contact the relevant national enforcement body in your member state.

We strongly encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve the issue directly.

7. Contact us

You can reach our accessibility team at:

EU Book.eu
Accessibility contact: accessibility@eubook.eu

We aim to respond to all accessibility feedback within 10 working days and to resolve confirmed barriers within 30 working days.

8. Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared in accordance with the requirements of Directive (EU) 2016/2102 and Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/1523.

It was last reviewed on 12 August 2026. We plan to commission an independent accessibility audit before the platform reaches its first public release, and to review this statement at least annually thereafter.
